Who we are

ADpubs ("we") runs three country pubs across Warwickshire - The Masons Arms, The Shakespeare Inn and The Cottage of Content. For data protection purposes we are the data controller for this website. (Each pub's own website, and our events site ADevents, has its own privacy notice.) You can reach us about anything on this page at hello@adpubs.co.uk.

What we collect, and why

Visitor statistics. We count page views using our own software on our own server - no Google Analytics, no third parties. The counter stores the page visited, the referring site, and an anonymised code that cannot be traced back to you and changes every day, so we cannot follow you between visits. It stores nothing on your device.

Phone and email. If you call or email us, we'll hold that correspondence for as long as it takes to deal with your query and our normal business record-keeping.

Cookies

This site uses strictly necessary cookies only - the kind UK law (PECR) does not require consent for, because the site cannot work safely without them:

We also use your browser's local storage (not cookies) to remember two choices you make: your light/dark theme preference, and whether you've dismissed the cookies notice. Neither leaves your device.

We use no advertising, tracking or social-media cookies, and no third-party analytics. If that ever changes, this page and the site's cookie notice will be updated first, and we will ask for your consent before any such cookie is set.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or object to how we use it. Email hello@adpubs.co.uk and we'll respond within one month. If you're unhappy with how we handle your data you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

Changes to this page

If we change what we collect or how we use it, we'll update this page and, where the change is significant, show the site notice again.
